(They keep track of EN but don't subtract for historical purposes/etc) While  statistically subtracting will show converted success , it's worth mentioning I'm not factoring in players letting other players down in pursuit of scoring in these statistics, so you're getting converted value, not full value. Skaters:   (Great setup, player whiffs. Player scores, Blue line infraction, No goal/etc) Goalies:   (Screens, Bad Turnovers, Breakaways/etc)  I should also point out that  not all goals and assists are equal in difficulty or involvement in the play. Stats companies would have to employ watchers, who chart those instead of just inflated stats as the season goes on. Disc...
